Welcome to Rick Peterson Plumbing & Sewer Service
Hello. Welcome to our website. My name is Rick Peterson, owner of Rick Peterson Plumbing. We are specialists in plumbing and sewer repair work. Personally, I‘ve been in business for 15 Years, but boast of 30 years experience in the plumbing trade. For the most part, if you are viewing this website, you are interested in finding out about the free sewer repair program that my company offers.
Like most people, you too are skeptical. After all, how could I stay in business if we repair and dig sewers for free? It would be impossible to remain in business if I had to dig and repair sewers for free. You’re right. My question to you is what number of sewers really need to be dug up? When I mention our sewer maintenance agreement (SMA) to people, the first question rattled out of their mouths is, “how can you dig and repair sewers for free?”

Sewers Don't Have to be Repaired!!

“How can you dig and repair sewers for free?”
My answer (for the last 15 Year) has always been the same, because they don’t have to be repaired. In other words, most sewers only need to be rodded, not dug up.

Now, let me ask you a question? Are you viewing this site because your current plumber has told you that your sewer is in bad condition? Don’t you know? Most companies want to dig your sewer because it means that they’ll make big money. Sewer repair is the most lucrative scam in the plumbing trade.

I can’t be more adamant in saying the percentage of sewer repair fraud is extremely high. Because of this, as a repercussion, the Rick Peterson SMA program has become immensely successful.

I have a high success rate in clearing residential sewer systems.

The Rick Peterson Solution

That includes many sewers that other companies claimed were broken and had to be dug up.

The Other Guy's Solution

Has someone told you that your sewer is broken? Really! For what Reason? Age. Tree root invasion. Water back up. What if I told you that the reason just mentioned are a bunch of B.S?

Honest Facts About the Typical
Residential Sewer System

Here are some honest facts (for once) about the typical residential sewer system. Your sewer outside the foundation wall consists of ceramic tile six inches in diameter and two feet in length.

They are joined together with each joint, or bell, sealed with cement. Since they are a form of ceramic and lay beneath the frost line, they can last thousands of years.

Tree roots, which are the most common cause of sewer stoppages, often grow through the bell of the tiles. They don’t really damage tile they just live in it. My best argument to defend this root theory is: Have you ever seen a tree grow around a fence? Well if a tree grows around a fence, then how can it’s roots possibly break a circular tile covered with tons of dirt? Far less than people would have you believe it happens.

Before you decide to have you sewer line repaired, how about a rodding? I specialize in sewer preservation. I'm not interested in digging up your sewer, but preventative maintenance. I believe that with regular sewer rodding, your house's sewer will long outlast most of its residents. It is a solution for anyone with clay tiles to consider.

Recently, it has come to my attention that the “free” video cam of your sewer is the latest scam. Be aware, most sewer companies want to dig you up. They will do anything to convince you to spend big money. What better way to convince you than with a video? Don’t fall for it.

Rick Peterson's SMA Program protects the consumer. It virtually eliminates any chance for home repair fraud. It educates the homeowner to maintain the root growth in the sewer by rodding it away.

Annual rodding maintains sewer performance.

What Do These People Have in Common?
Nancy of Mount Prospect
Sidney of Evanston
Tish of Wilmette
They were all told by other companies that they needed extensive sewer repairs. Rick Peterson’s SMA program saved the three a combined total of $13,600. It is estimated that in its 15 years of existence, the SMA program has saved Chicago land residences well into the $100,000’s from sewer rip-offs.
